The SessionFlow song tracker board on macOS — tracks moving across Idea, Recording, Mix, Master, and Complete stages
How it works

Five stages. One honest answer.

Drag a track across the board as the record comes together. Rename stages, change their icons and colors, add or remove them to match your workflow.

IDEA

Capture the spark — a voice memo, a title, a tempo.

RECORDING

Track parts as they land: drums, bass, vocals.

MIX

Rough bounces, timestamped notes, revisions.

MASTER

Final checks — mono compatibility, true peak.

COMPLETE

Done and delivered. On to the next one.

Features

Music project management, built the way records get made

Easily track the progress of every song you are currently recording

The board

Every card tells you where the song stands

BPM, key, due date, parts, and checklist progress at a glance. Drag tracks between stages, search across every track, artist, and client.

Drop a bounce on any track

WAV, MP3, or AIFF — voice memos, demos, rough mixes. Real waveforms on every card; click to play, click to seek. Record ideas straight from the mic.

Parts · checklists · feedback

Log notes that land on the exact second

Track drums, bass, and vocals separately from stage checklists like "check mono compatibility." Feedback carries the author, a timestamp into the song, and an optional reference file — timestamps seek the transport.

Sessions & albums

A board for every band and client

Each session gets its own color and its own board. Albums group a session's records with live progress bars — and one click copies a plain-text status summary, ready to paste into a client email.

Frequently asked questions

How does iCloud sync work on a new Mac? +

Your library lives in your own private iCloud database. Sign in to the same Apple Account on the new Mac, open SessionFlow, and your sessions, tracks, and albums appear — no export or setup needed. Attached audio files sync too.

Which audio formats can I attach? +

WAV, MP3, and AIFF. Drop a file on any track card or use Attach audio in the inspector. Every attachment gets a real waveform you can click to play and seek.

Do I need an account? +

No. There are no accounts, no tracking, and no data collection. Everything stays on your Mac and in your private iCloud database. The App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”

Can I back up my library? +

Yes — full backup export and import are built in. Export produces a single archive of your entire library, including audio attachments, that you can re-import on any Mac.
